B) About FARSER

FARSER (FLABER-XHTML Parser) is a PHP-based parser that can parse those XML generated from FLABER to W3C valid XHTML format. It uses another generic PHP parser, DOMIT! v1.1 to help the parsing process. For more information about DOMIT!, please visit here.

* PHP 4.0 or above

E) Installation Guide

  1. Download the latest package of FARSER from SourceForge
  2. Unzip the package to the same path as FLABER
  3. Browse to
http://www.your_domain.com/installation_path/flaber/farser.php

F) How to use FARSER

  1. Browse the main page of FARSER
  2. In this page, the XML files inside flaber/page/ will be shown, select the page you want to parse and select:
    1. Show the XHTML (or)
    2. Parse and save to XHTML
  3. According to the selection you have chosen, the following action will be done
    1. the preview of the XHTML page will be shown
    2. the page will be parsed and save under flaber/page/ and named with the same name as the XML page, but different in file extension
      e.g. index.xml will be saved as index.htm
